  • Grant Coordinator and Writer for multiple U.S. Department of Education Investing In Innovation (i3) Grant Program applications (all three competition areas).  Collaborated with Sara Shopkow (Grantologist) on two of these projects.

  • Co-consulting with Carrie Rothburd of Grant-Central-Station to work with three long-term clients (2009-2011) in Vancouver, Washington (1) and Baltimore, Maryland (2).  Project length: 1+ years.

  • Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.  Contracted to coordinate rewriting of massive Federal Race To The Top (RT3) Grant Program.  Application and attachments over 1,200 pages.  Project length: March - May.

  • BET Networks: Coordinated research and writing for the Federal BTOP (highly competitive) Grant Program. Worked with top-level executives and high profile partnering national nonprofit organizations.  Largest corporate client and largest grant request project for Dr. Bev in over 30 years.  Project length: 9 very long days.

  • Philips Healthcare World Headquarters: Researched and completed multiple targeted customer focused Toolkits specific to finding and writing grant applications for stimulus and other public and private monies to purchase AEDs.  Project length: Over 2 years affiliation.

  • Completing 501 C 3 (IRS Form 1023) for the Baltimore Area Hispanic Community Development Corporation.  Helping client respond to numerous IRS queries about revenues and operations.  Client received nonprofit tax-exempt status in 2010.  Project length: Six months.

  • Co-consulting with Grant Central Station (Grant Writer, Carrie Rothburd) to conduct monthly funding research for client in Vancouver, Washington.  Project length: 1 year.

  • First Bilingual Christian Church of Baltimore - Researched action steps needed to develop a Community Development Corporation in the State of Maryland. Project length: 14 days for research and 1.5 days for new Board of Director's Organizational, Leadership, and Resource Capacity Building Training Program. 

  • Town of Buckeye, Arizona: Facilitator for 10-Year Plan to End Chronic Homelessness - 65 Page Planning and implementation document with Public Steering Committee input. Completed April 2008. Worked with U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development Regional Office and Corporation for Supportive Housing representatives to design plan specific to the Town of Buckeye. Project length: 5 months.

  • Buckeye Outreach for Social Services - Buckeye, Arizona:  Contracted evaluator for United Way funded I Can Project.  Conducted comprehensive qualitative and quantitative monitoring and evaluation; prepared reports and uploaded to United Way e-Fund.  Project length: 14 months.

  • Buckeye Outreach for Social Services - Buckeye, Arizona: Facilitated United Way (Arizona Compassion Initiative grant) funded Board of Directors and Leadership Training Program.  Curriculum included leadership development, organizational development, and resource development.  Involved seven Board members, the Executive Director and three program staff.  Project length: 8 months.
