Dr. Beverly A. Browning has been consulting in the areas of grant writing, contract bid responses, and organizational development for 35 years. Her clients have included units of local and county municipal governments, state and federal government agencies, school districts and colleges, social and human service agencies, hospitals, service associations, and Fortune 500 corporations. Dr. Browning has assisted clients and workshop participants throughout the United States in receiving awards of more than $200 million. Dr. Browning is the author of over two dozen grants-related publications, including Grant Writing For Dummies (Wiley.com), Grant Writing for Educators (Solution-Tree.com), How to Become a Grant Writing Consultant (ebook on this Website) Faith-Based Grants: Aligning Your Church to Receive Abundance (ebook on this Website), and Winning Strategies for Developing Grant Proposals (Thompson.com). The newest book, Perfect Phrases for Writing Grant Proposals, published by McGraw-Hill, can be purchased at www.Amazon.com. She holds degrees in Organizational Development, Public Administration, and Business Administration. Dr. Browning is a grant writing course developer and online facilitator for Education To Go; faculty member at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Institute for Organization Management and Rio Salado College Online, and is a former member of the Advisory Board for the University of Central Arkansas Community Development Institute and recently rejoined the American Association of Grant Professionals. She will present a preconference workshop to new and veteran grant writing consultants at their annual conference in Austin, Texas on November 4, 2009.
In 2007, she founded the Grant Writing Training Foundation. The purpose of the Grant Writing Training Foundation (GWTF) is to provide affordable and relevant training in grant seeking and writing. The GWTF is a private operating foundation supported by BBA, Inc. dba Bev Browning & Associates.
